QuestionPro at the University of Vienna
The University of Vienna now offers the survey software QuestionPro to staff and students. The platform features a user-friendly interface, extensive tools for creating and analysing online surveys, and serves as a modern alternative to Qualtrics. QuestionPro can be used both in research and teaching. The purpose of this website is to collate all the relevant information and resources regarding the software.

Please note
- Only personal accounts may be created. Group or team accounts are not permitted. Your account is to be used exclusively by you (account sharing is not permitted).
- Your QuestionPro account will be deleted when you no longer meet the necessary requirements (e.g., if you are no longer employed or enrolled as a student). All stored data, including questionnaires and answers, will also be removed.
- QuestionPro is not intended as a data archive. Regardless of account expiration, all data should be regularly exported and backed up locally.
- The QuestionPro administrators of the University of Vienna have the technical means to view your account and the data contained therein.
- By default, the IP address of participants is recorded when they respond in a QuestionPro survey. Your survey therefore contains personal data and is subject to the GDPR.
- By using QuestionPro, you agree that your name, your organizational unit, your u:account UserID and your university e-mail address will be processed by the University of Vienna and transmitted to the service provider QuestionPro in order to provide you with a user account on the survey platform. The data will only be used to set up and manage your account. QuestionPro is contractually obliged as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to process the data only within the scope of the agreed purposes and in accordance with European data protection standards. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. Revocation will result in your access to QuestionPro being deactivated. You confirm that have read the data protection information and agree to the processing of your data as described.
